Dear LOST,

I would just first like to say, that I do not regret spending 6 years of my life devoted to you. You never let me down. Of course there were times that I screamed at the TV, and contemplated never watching you again just to show you that you can't be mean to me like that, but I wasn't strong enough and then just patiently waited for the next episode. Thank you for the most amazing plot twisting EVER, and some of the most touching scenes I have ever witnessed. Even though I didn't want you to be over, you ended perfectly. There was not a dry eye in the house!

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT MOTHER?! IM PART MACHINE!

So for the past 17 days I have been wearing this loverly contraption..

I have to wear leads right below my right collar bone, and right below my left breast. (the picture above is a Holter Monitor, and I am wearing a different kind and that is why there are so many more cords than I really have, I only have 2)

So this is what is going down. My doctor doesn't like that sound of my heart. Words straight from her mouth. I was kinda offended, and wanted to be like,,, "WELL,,,,I DON'T LIKE YOUR HAIR STYLE!!" But she had nice hair, so I didn't really say anything. But she said that it would be better if I wore a heart monitor to see what my heart was doing, and what was up with its crazy activities.
I have to wear these sticky things that are what stick to my skin and attach the leads(aka the wires). And lets just say, that I won't be surprised to see circle shaped scars by the end of this trial. The things are burning holes in my skin!!! I have perfectly round golf ball size blisters/open sores, where the sticky things are supposed to go... and let me tell you what ladies and gentlemen, it stings like a MOTHA!!. and I can't do anything about it because I need to keep it on, so it can catch what is going wrong, so that the doctors will be able to figure out what is wrong with me!
All in all, i just want all of this heart business to be figured out, and everything to be ok. I am kind of scared, I have had problems with my heart before, and I hope it is nothing bigger and scarier.
But for now, I have this rockin new necklace and at work, my friends have started to call me "Iron Woman" (because of the whole heart issue and being part bionic for the time being, plus I have quite a thing for Mr. Tony Stark....mmmmmmmm)



Awesome Eric from my work drew me this picture the first day that I had to wear my monitor, it really cheered me up, cause I was kind of bummed that I have to wear it for 30 days... bleh.

So basically.... this is amazing.

I heart Tim Gunn so much and to hear him talk about superheros is just....awesome.

I just ADORE all of his comments about the costumes.. and I love how things just "don't work for him."

p.s. Tim Gunn actually stars in a comic called Model Inc. and he says that "He is a super hero to fight crimes against fashion." He also doesn't have any super powers so he gets to wear the Iron Man suit. To which he was asked if he would accessorize the suit, he responded. "The suit needs no accessories! It is already accessorized, its perfect."

For the last two weeks, every thursday, Colt has been playing Church Ball.

I know, I was taken aback at first, since I have never witnessed him ever playing any organized sport....like....ever...

BUT

He is pretty good at it!

Sadly tonight, Colt took a shot and actually made it....

(DONT LAUGH...IT WAS A BIG DEAL TO US)

.....and...........I missed it.... I was looking down at something....

All I heard was "WOW THAT WAS AMAZING! GOOD JOB COLT! WOO! BOWDEN YEAH!"

Needless to say I was way sad and disappointed in myself.

Colt if you are reading this, that was just motivation to score even more amazing points so I can see at least one...

Sick Day Already??

Well. Last night was crazy.

Before we went to bed, Colt told me that his stomach didn't feel right, but that he would try to sleep it off. So around 12 pm we turned out the lights, trying to catch some much needed beauty rest....Then BAM

Colt gets up and goes straight into the bathroom and doesn't come out til around 3 in the morning.

Poor guy.. he doesn't deserve that. It was pretty bad. I thought he had passed out on the bathroom floor, but then I....heard...him...and knew he was still goin. I think once I heard the sink going, the toilet flushing, and the bathtub on. I was way confused, but didn't dare go in.

I had to sleep on the couch because I had school in the morning and I couldn't get to sleep with him going back and forth to the bathroom so often.... Major Sad Face D:

Even though he was a sicky, that meant that I had a whole day of him to myself. (my school gets out at 12)

We just sat on the couch, drinking Ginger Ale and watching a marathon of Arrested Development. We successfully watched the whole 2nd season. I think all of the laughing made his stomach feel better!! Laughter is the best medicine!

First Day of School! First Day of School!

Yesterday was my first day of school. Woot? Sigh, lets the stressing start! I have 6 classes!
17 credits!

Anyways, I noticed something about my teachers (I only have 2 on Mondays).

First of all, my Political Science teacher sounds like this lady

Then my Intro to Lit. teacher looks like this.

Well those were the highlights of my first day.....Sigh.
