Come On Ladies!!

So today I made my mom come with me to a water aerobics class at the pubic pool. She was freaking out because she thought she was going to die of hypothermia in the cold pool. I reassured her that you can't get hypothermia in a indoor heated pool. She whined still but I made her get changed. We were both new at this, and I was excited to try it because I love swimming and I love exercising when I get the chance, so put the two together and I got my dream work out! It was way fun, and waaaaaaaaay tiring. It is a serious muscle burning workout. I felt great though the whole time! Because no one can see you underwater so you don't feel as embarrassed. :) Plus there were alot of old ladies there. Which was awesome. And some really hairy dude,,,but he stayed on the other side of the pool. (I swear he had more hair on his back than on his head...and he wasn't balding)
I seriously suggest this workout for anyone who wants a fun total body work out! Its really worth it if you go. :)

P.S. My mom told me on the way to the pool that she never got to do those "Mommy and Me" baby swimming classes. So I told her that these will be our "mommy and Me" classes.

P.S.S. Does anyone else think that the old man in the last picture thinks he is going to die? Poor old man!

Going Green...

Well actually............Blue!

Today was my last day in SLC for a while, and Colt had a surprise for me! He took me to this place called, The Recycled Bike, where people go to drop off their old rusty bikes, and then other people come and look at them and if they want one, a really nice guy will fix it up like new and make it all shiny! Its also really cheap! Considering these are really antique bikes!

So Colt bought me the one i fancied...the pretty blue cruiser.
I love him so much and I am so excited to marry him!!
THANK YOU COLT!!

(He got to ride it first. I have to wait til after the wedding when we go back home to ride it. :( but hey! Im still way excited!)

P.S. If any of you want to suggest any names for my bike, that would be awesome. I am a little stuck in the naming department. Help would be nice! :)

Searchin High and Low...

This last week, I have been back in the lovely valley of Salt Lake. During these last couple of days, Colt and I have been Apartment hunting to find a sweet pad to call our own. We drove around the avenues, calling up all of the numbers we saw on "FOR RENT" signs. One day we found one that we liked alot, it was called the Ruby apartments, and we thought it would be great for us. Yet it was kind of a fixer upper....and that is sometimes a bummer...But that was the best we could find so far and so we thought, "Why not" and filled out an application. We turned it in the next day and we were accepted!
That day, Colt texted one of his friends who was living down the street from the Ruby Apartments, to tell him that we might be moving in down the street. He said that was cool, but him and his wife already moved out of their apartment a couple of days ago! We were bummed that we weren't going to have friends close by. But then Colt had an idea. "Lets just go check out their apartment real fast". So we went and met with the landlord (a very sweet guy, a member too.) and he let us in. And to make this story short. We got the key to it and are moving in on monday!

The whole apartment complex is old, and so all of the fixtures, and light switches and door knockers are all antique looking like this. I love it!

The hallway you walk in when you enter

The living room! Its so big! Hardwood floors too! Amazing!

The Kitchen. New fridge, and countertops. He (the landlord) even installed a cutting board on the countertop! It has a cool window in it too. I love the natural lighting.

The dining room.

The hallway that leads to the bathroom and the bedroom.

Newly tiled bathroom. :)

The bedroom.

The Apartments are called Chateau Normandy. Its quiet and surrounded by trees, which i love! Evidently there is a 78 year old Russian lady that will be our neighbor below us and she is very sweet and doesn't really speak english. I hope to meet her soon.
Colt and I are very stoked to get this apartment. We feel very blessed. Its cheaper than the Ruby Apartment, and its twice as big! Talk about a deal!
We are very excited to be living there soon! Please come visit someday!

P.S. Thanks Chris and Jilanne (sp?) for keepin the place so dang clean! You rock!

Caution!

Do NOT, I repeat! DO NOT go see "Up" if you have tear ducts, emotions, or a heart.
You will bawl and it will mess up the whole 3-D magic.
Even the beginning little Pixar short will set off the waterworks, and it won't stop there.
But see it if you must.
But just remember that I warned you.
And if you do plan on going, stock up on kleenex

(if you don't want to look like a wuss, just grab a lot of napkins and make it look like you are getting them for the 6 dollar oily popcorn you just bought.)

p.s. don't go if you are a PMSing girl, that will not end up well. Actually guys aren't safe from this movie either.

p.s.s I actually did love this movie.
