Back in My Day...

So the other day, Colt gave me some old pictures of him. Annnnnnd pretty much I would have had "like a total major crush" on him if we went to the same school.

He is like....so totally gorgeous.

yay and he loves me.

Fierce...

So I am horrible at remembering birthdays of loved ones. Seriously...i suck. But! I still give awesome presents days later! YES!...Anyhoo this time i wanted to make blankets for my little brother and my grampers. So Colt and I ventured to Walmart to get blankets and fabric. But right when we start going out of the fabric section to go check out, we decided to grab a sewing machine for purchasing too! i mean why not! I was too afraid to use Colt's mom's (its her baby). So yeah. We both bought it together......but Colt calls it mine... YAY.

What is wrong with this......

So one evening while heading to family home evening at the nicklecade (see earlier post about that adventure) We stopped at a dollar store because i was in desperate need of tissues. MY NOSE WAS A RUNNIN AND I COULDN'T CATCH UP! So we were walking in the aisles and something caught my eye, and tickled my funny bone.

This is what i found.

No, no, its not what you think. It was a banner for a baby shower that said. "Now I lay me down to sleep." But the packaging ruined that innocent message. Seriously. I didn't mess with it. That is exactly how it was packaged in the plastic.

Ok....that was the creepiest thing I've ever seen...

So relating to that last post....After the symphony we were desperately in need of some good ol' Chinese food. But it was about 9 ish and we didn't know if anything would be open. YET, there was this place that's florescent open sign was still glowing. So we ventured in and we were the only ones while they cleaned up the place to go home. It was in a kinda sketchy part of town...and the parking was in a back dark alley of sorts. So on our way back to the car...something catches my eye......some thing.........creepy..........At first i didn't think it was what i thought it was....but i was too scared to double check,,,,so i made Colt do it.....and my suspisions were correct...it was indeed...................

A Night On The Town!

So this semester, Colt and I are taking a music and culture appreciation class. It is very interesting and we just get to learn and listen to music all class. But there is another benefit to this class. DISCOUNTED CONCERT TICKETS! Yes, folks you heard right. Our teacher gets a discount on concert, symphony, and opera tickets. Seriously. We pay 3-5 bucks, for 50-90$ tickets! Its awesome! So a couple weeks ago, Colt and I took advantage of this, and got tickets to see the Utah Symphony by Vivaldi's Four Seasons. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! There was even a harpsichord! Score!

Cool huh?? So talented!

Are We There Yet?

Yay road trip with the Bowden's! We are off to see Colt's grandparents who live in a little town called Ferron, Utah. Basically the middle of no wheres and where everybody knows everybody. It was kinda surreal and his grandparents live in the coziest little home. It was great! Thanks for inviting me to come along!

This is Colt at 5 in the morning before we set out on our 3 hour car ride to Ferron.
